ABPS Infra has been engaged by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy
(MNRE) to design new financing mechanisms and instruments for promotion
of solar water heating systems using utilities and regulatory measures
in India. MNRE is conducting this assignment as a part of United Nations
Development Program (UNDP) & Global Environment Facility (GEF) assisted
Project on "Global Solar Water Heating Market Transformation
and Strengthening Initiative: India Country Program."
The objective of the project is to accelerate and sustain the growth
of solar water heating market in India and to use the experiences and
lessons learned while promoting similar growth in other countries.
